For the City Council & Panhandle Groundwater Conservation races, the process is normal in the sense you cast one vote per place/candidate. Regular voting procedures.
For the AC Board of Regents race things change a bit, since there are three open spots on the board in which the candidates are running, every voter can cast 3 total votes. The difference is, voters can use all 3 available votes for one candidate OR split them between three candidates OR a voter can cast 2 votes for one candidate and 1 vote for another candidate. So in total, 3 votes can be cast in this race.
For the Amarillo ISD School Board race things also change a bit from normal voting procedure. The same procedure from the AC Board of Regents applies to the Amarillo ISD School Board race. There are four spots open in this race so a voter can cast all 4 available votes for one candidate OR split them up between candidates but in total 4 votes can be cast in this race.
